Company Profile: Boon Rawd Brewery, Thailand’s first brewery, was founded in 1933 by Phraya Bhirom Bhakdi. For over 85 years, the privately owned company has become a renowned beer and beverage producer, managed by 3rd and 4th generations of the descendants of the founder together with professionals from different fields. At present, the company produces products under the numerous brand names and has diversified its business interests into manufacturing, agriculture, real estate, food, retail fashion, power generation, venture capital which comprises of over 120 affiliated companies. The company also tapped into agro-tourism industry with Singha Park Chiang Rai, a Social Enterprise Company, growing premium fresh produce and offering numbers of recreational activities, currently known as top tourist attraction of Chiang Rai. The latest is Singha Estate Public Company Limited, our first venture into property business. The company now owns over 50 hotels in Thailand, UK, Mauritius, Seychelles, Fiji, and in the Maldives and along with high-end residential, office buildings, and retails. As an integral part of the Thai society, Boon Rawd Brewery is proud of its reputation as a good corporate citizen. The company actively participates in local environmental support programs, offers scholarships and educational opportunities for the children as well as provides medical assistance and disaster relief under the Phraya Bhirombhakdi Foundation. The Royal Garuda that appears on every bottle of Singha products is a Thai Royal Warrant, the highest honor in Thailand awarded to businesses and organizations, was granted to Boon Rawd Brewery on October 25th, 1939, for its exceptional service and commitment to the conomic and social development of the Thai Kingdom.
