29 major Italian and Thai companies gathered in Thailand –in the stunning setting of Koh Samet- for the second meeting of the Thai-Italian Business Forum.
The event in Koh Samet was co-chaired by Busaba Chirativat, Executive Vice President of Central Group (Thailand’s largest retail conglomerate and an international investor which acquired also La Rinascente department store in Italy) and Roberto Macrì, CEO of CMC Ravenna, one of the leading Italian construction companies, with Regional Office for South Asia located in Bangkok.
This second edition registered the attendance of two new Thai Board Members (Innove Rubber and Merchant Partner Securities), while the Italian Co-Chairmanship confirmed the strong interest of leading companies in food and banking sectors to join the Forum in the next future. The industries involved in the discussion range from automotive to banking, cement, food, agricultural and construction machinery, motorcycle industry, infrastructure, insurance, furniture, lifestyle, oil and gas, steel machinery, sugar and renewable energy, retail, rubber, petrochemicals and tourism.
